Biography
Dr. Kelepouris brings a wealth of experience to the Rinker School of Business, having previously held a
position in the Department of Management at Michigan State University. Currently, he serves as the
Department Chair of Management, Marketing, and International Business, and also holds the role of
Associate Director at the Titus Center for Franchising. With a publication record focusing on
international franchising and law, he has imparted his expertise in law and business at both graduate
and undergraduate levels, spanning across the United States, Kuwait, and the United Arab Emirates.
Notably, his contributions have been recognized through his appointment as a UAE-Stanford Innovation
and Entrepreneurship Fellow by the Prime Minister’s office
In addition to his academic roles, Dr. Kelepouris has held key executive positions, including that of
College Provost, Chief Legal Consultant, and Director of Compliance. Beyond academia, he holds a real
estate broker license and is actively engaged in real estate investment, showcasing his deep involvement
in various hospitality ventures and diverse business pursuits
