Biography
Dr. Chip Stan comes to PBA after serving as a faculty member at Florida Atlantic University since 2013. During his Ph.D. studies at the University of Texas at Dallas, he taught international business and strategic management. Dr. Stan’s research interests include corporate governance, state-owned enterprises, institutional theory, and social networks. He has published articles in the Asia Pacific Journal of Management and the Academy of Management Perspectives, and is in the process of submitting an article to the Journal of World Business. Dr. Stan has presented at numerous conferences at both the national and international levels. He has over seven years of international professional experience in managerial positions, which provide him with rich material to share in classroom discussions. Dr. Stan is a member of the Academy of International Business, the Southern Management Association, and the Academy of Management.
