Biography
Dr. Tammy Hoffman worked as an educator in the capacities of teacher, guidance counselor, academic advisor, and administrator in both Christian and public secondary schools in South Florida for 27 years. She has also worked as an adjunct professor teaching various Psychology classes since 2011. She loves teaching Psychology because the topics are so relevant and applicable. She teaches online classes at PBA and works as an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Trine University in Indiana. She truly enjoys working with students during their crucial years as they determine their worldview, prepare for their future career, and possibly find their spouse.
God has been an integral part of her life since she accepted Him as her LORD and Savior when she was a teen. She sees evidence of His work in her life daily.
Most unfortunately her husband was killed by a drunk driver in 1991. God taught her many lessons during that difficult time. After her grieving she wrote the book, “Journey through the Wight Stages of Grief” to encourage others during their challenging times. She has spoken at Women’s Retreats, chapels, and been a guest speaker at many events to discuss her book and the grieving process, as well as other Christian topics.
Dr. Tammy Hoffman is blessed with two daughters who are both married. They have blessed her with three granddaughters, who she adores. She is an active member of her church in Indiana. In her free time she enjoys visiting her children and granddaughters, traveling, boating, kayaking, and exercising.
